Design Economy 2018

Mark Hart and the ERC team were pleased to be involved in producing a large part of the statistical evidence as well as showing the connection between design & innovation – an established driver of productivity for the new Design Council report on the design economy launched by Greg Clark MP (Secretary of State for BEIS) at the Northern Business Summit in Newcastle on July 5th 2018.
The Design Economy 2018 is the Design Council’s report on the state of design in the UK, and its value to the economy.
Commenting on the report Mark Hart added “It is important to stress the design economy is much broader than the design sector. Designers are in every sector of the economy”
