Biography

Eleni is located at the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at Strathclyde Business School. She has a full scholarship award from the Centre and the Scottish Enterprise (SE) to conduct a study on entrepreneurial leadership and the connections between entrepreneurial leadership and organizational performance. The overall objective of the research is to draw the framework needed to increase understanding of the role entrepreneurial leadership skills play in business growth and organizational performance in the context of the Scottish Economy. Her research is being supervised by Profs Sara Carter and Jonathan Levie.

Eleni has extensive experience in non-profit organisation management.  She has worked as a Budget & Finance Co-ordinator for the Greek NGO ANCE and as an external associate for the Scottish Social Enterprise, Assist Social Capital CIC. Her experience includes project design and management of international development cooperation projects, public awareness and social responsibility projects with particular focus on active citizenship, intercultural cooperation and sustainable development for major funders such as EU, UN, the Scottish and Greek Government.
